Shereen Hashim has been in Private Practice since 1997. Before that she worked at Lentegeur Psychiatric Hospital OPD (1992-1995) . She treats a broad spectrum of clinical conditions including : Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Mood Disorder, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Trauma, Bereavement, Adjustments, Neuroses and Psychoses. She is happy to assist Children, Adults, Individuals, Families, Couples and Groups, as indicated and networks with multidisciplinary team

Scope of intervention include Psychological Assessment, Case Management, Admissions, Crisis Intervention, Grief Counselling, Cognitive- Behavioural Intervention, Brief Short-Term Therapy, Long-Term case management, Supportive Psychotherapy. She is able to treat both in-patients (Wards) and out-patients (by appointment) and offers an experienced, Empathic, Bilingual (English and Afrikaans) Service.
